A wholesome gluten-free pizza base made with soaked quinoa and oats — no yeast, no maida, no oven needed. Just blend, pour and cook on a tawa. Top with your favourite satvic toppings!

Ingredients
Method
- Soak the quinoa: Soak the quinoa in plenty of water for 6–8 hours. Drain and rinse thoroughly.
- Blend the quinoa: Add the drained quinoa to a blender and blend into a smooth batter. Add a little water if needed to help it blend.
- Mix the batter: Transfer to a bowl and add the oats powder, curd, salt and baking powder. Mix well into a thick pourable batter. Adjust consistency with water if needed.
- Pour onto the pan: Heat a pan on low flame and grease lightly with oil. Pour the batter onto the pan and spread gently into a round shape like a thick pancake.
- Cook and flip: Cook on low flame until the surface looks firm and the edges start to lift. Flip carefully and cook the other side until golden. Your healthy pizza base is ready!
Notes
Satvic Basics & Foundations: This base is completely gluten-free, grain-free and high in protein from the quinoa — a brilliant foundation for a satvic pizza night.
Soaking tip: Rinse the quinoa well before and after soaking — quinoa has a natural coating called saponin that can taste bitter if not washed off thoroughly.
Consistency tip: The batter should be thick and pourable like a thick dosa batter. If too thick, add water a little at a time. If too thin, add a spoonful more oats powder.
Topping ideas: Use the avocado tofu sauce from our Satvic Protein Series as the base sauce, then top with sautéed vegetables, paneer or olives for a complete satvic pizza!
